Bigmouth Strikes Again and Again

Filed under: Getting Around, Non Sequiters for $500 Alex — qualifiedcondition @ 4:28 pm

I have this problem where my iPod insists on playing The Smiths all the time when I’m heading to work.  Don’t get me wrong, I love The Smiths, but I don’t think “I can feel the soil falling over my head” is exactly the best thing to listen to when you’re marching off to your job in one of the world’s biggest bureaucracies to “make a difference.”  Basically my iPod needs a hug, or maybe a drink, I don’t know.  It’s depressed.  And probably British and gay.

For Valentines Day K knitted me an iPhone case (the best present I’ve ever recieved by the way) and I decided to see if it would cheer up the iPod.  You know, like a little afghan or a warm and soft sweater on a chilly day.  I think it worked.  Now all I can hear on the way to work is “Walking on Sunshine,” which is weird because I don’t even own a Katrina and the Waves album.

  1. Congrats btw, you have now beat out an article on Bipolar Disorder to claim the number one spot on Google when one types in “Qualified Condition.”

And don’t lie, you have all of Katrina and the Waves stuff. I’ve seen the poster on the inside of your closet door too.
