See You Chumps Later

Filed under: Retirement Flyers — qualifiedcondition @ 11:00 pm

Bob is both carefree and considerate.  He is carefree in as much as he doesn’t have to work anymore and can toss his briefcase.  He is considerate in as much as he’s not going to litter.  Rather, he is going to gracefully toss, then volley with his foot, his briefcase into a trash receptacle.  Bob is carefree, considerate and graceful.  You would want him on your ultimate frisbee team, which is entirely possible because he’s retired now and probably looking for something to do.

I think that this might be the last of the hand-drawn flyers in my arsenal, which is a shame because they are so charming.  I think that looking at a photograph of Bob’s three fingers in person might have been a little off-putting–but in drawing form his disability is comical and fun.  But don’t let the carefree, comical, fun, considerate, graceful nature of this package fool you.  There will be no walk-ins at this party.  This isn’t Supercuts.  The man’s been working for 33 years–if you couldn’t RSVP you need to take a hike.  Mom.
